Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using philter.io (“the Service”), operated by Philter Inc., a Delaware corporation (“philter,” “we,” “us,” “our”), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

philter is the management operating system for the agent-human workforce. For each client engagement we build and run a workspace: meetings, notes and mail come in; decisions, tasks, deliverables and briefs come out, and agents and people report to the same board. The Service includes AI analysis of the material you bring in, which proposes items for your team’s review; scheduled briefs, digests and notifications by email; a record of what was decided and from what; and a connection through which your own AI agents may read from and propose to the workspace.

3. Your Account

Accounts are created by invitation. You are responsible for the security of your sign-in credentials and of any agent tokens you create, and for the actions taken with them. You may not share your account or use another person’s account without permission.

4. Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you bring into the Service (transcripts, recordings, notes, mail and attachments, chat exports, spreadsheets, files and other materials). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your content solely to provide the Service’s features, including AI analysis and the briefs and notifications derived from it. We do not use your content to train AI models, and our AI providers process it under terms that exclude training.

5. Connected Sources

You may connect Fireflies.ai with an API key you provide, share a spreadsheet with our service account, forward mail to the workspace’s intake address, and paste share links to files. You authorize us to read from those sources as the key, share or link permits. You can end a connection at any time by revoking the key or share with the provider or asking us to remove it; either ends our access. We are not responsible for the availability or conduct of third-party services.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the Service
• Use the Service to send spam or unsolicited communications

7. AI-Generated Content

The Service uses AI to produce extractions, summaries, briefs and other outputs from your content. AI outputs may contain errors or inaccuracies. Most of what the AI produces is a proposal until a member of your team approves it; the few kinds of update the platform applies itself are marked as its own and can be undone by any member with edit access. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying any recommendation, decision, or action before acting on it. We do not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated content.

8. Availability

We strive to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, updates, or modifications that temporarily affect availability. We will provide reasonable notice of planned downtime when possible.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may request deletion of your data by contacting us.

12. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
